Passport valid at least six months
2 photographs with white background 45x35mm
Covering letter for stating purpose of visit (For Employed - Plain paper/ For Self-Employed - Letterhead)
Original Bank statements for last six months duly signed and stamped by the banker
Income Tax returns last three years
Travel Itinerary
Supporting Financial Documents such as Fixed Deposits, Property Investments, Recurring Deposits, any other Investments etc (Optional but advisable)

If Employed

Letter from employer stating Leave sanctioned and No Objection to travel to UK (with company seal and signature)
Salary slips last three months and appointments letter copy if new joining

If Self Employed

If Visiting Friends or Relatives

Invitation Letter from invitee with full details of invitee, his status in UK and relation ship with applicant
Inviter’s ID proof like Passport or Resident Permit
Address proof like any Electricity bill, any Utility bill etc.
Inviter's Financial documents like Income Tax statement and Bank Statement

If Student

School / College / Institute ID Card
Leave sanctioned letter from School or School diary mentioning holidays during that time

If Minor

Birth Certificate
No Objection Certificate from the parents / non-accompanying parent on Rs 100/- stamp paper
ID proof of parent like passport or PAN card

If Sponsored
